Ergonomists advise people to alternate between sitting, standing and moving while working, reducing back pain while increasing alertness.
Burrow’s Copilot desk features an ample drawer space suitable for accommodating 17″ laptops, along with cable management features such as its cable basket. Furthermore, its height adjustment range is impressive.

Jarvis Adjustable Standing Desk
Fully (formerly ErgoDepot) of Portland offers the Jarvis Adjustable Standing Desk as an easy and mid-tier electric desk that features multiple preset heights with an intuitive keypad controller, along with an anti-collision feature that shuts off its motors if it collides with an object on the desktop or wall.
An adjustable standing desk is popular among those seeking to incorporate ergonomic features into their home or office environment. With multiple size options and accessories such as monitor mounts, keyboard trays, or CPU stands to fit all types of setups and accessories (keyboard trays or CPU stands), as well as frame colours and finish options with options to add a curved desktop, this versatile piece can provide all-round ergonomic support.
My review was particularly impressed with this adjustable standing desk due to its sturdy construction, ergonomic design, and impressive features. It can support heavy desktops while lifting 350 pounds at any one point on its surface–its manufacturer claims this ability! In addition, an anti-collision sensor stops motors when anything comes close to or under it–an excellent safety feature not often seen on electric desktops.
However, the Jarvis isn’t without its drawbacks. First, its price can quickly escalate beyond $1300 with additional accessories installed and installed if desired. Furthermore, this adjustable standing desk has a more limited warranty than similar products I’ve reviewed.
Overall, I think the Adjustable Jarvis is an excellent solution for anyone seeking to integrate ergonomic features into their workspace. It can help improve posture while working and may help avoid potential health problems associated with prolonged sitting.
Alongside research hours, I interviewed three experts about ergonomics and office set-up. Design ecologist Lindsay Tan of West Second Street LLC offered insight on selecting an optimal desk size; physical therapist, Matt Jeffs of Ability on Demand, gave practical tips for using a standing desk; while physiotherapist Lalitha Bhowani-McSorley of Brentwood Physiotherapy Calgary discussed health implications associated with prolonged sitting sessions.
Steelcase Solo Sit-To-Stand Desk
Sitting for long stretches has been linked with obesity, cardiovascular disease and other health concerns. While most people can’t avoid sitting all day long, standing desks can help mitigate some of these negative impacts by encouraging movement throughout the workday.
Steelcase is one of the leading office furniture providers, and their new Solo standing desk aims to meet the work-from-home market by selling for $600-$700 and featuring an expansive height adjustment range. Made in Thailand with Linak bases for maximum cost efficiency while meeting full ANSI/BIFMA height specifications; additionally, it includes collision avoidance that automatically back drives should anything come into contact while changing height settings as an added safety measure.
This desk features a commercial grade 1″ thick high-pressure laminate surface with an attractive faux wood look and feel designed for commercial grade environments. While not as durable or scratch-resistant as premium category desks, its uniform colour and look will still fit seamlessly with most interior styles. The Arctic White frame on the Solo stands out among premium category options due to plastic moulds connecting its foot to its motor box just beneath its surface – though its lack of brushed aluminium finish and rounded corners may detract some users.
Assembling this desk is relatively straightforward, although some tools will be necessary. The legs fit into the frame at an angle and click into place; once this step is complete, just a few screws need to be tightened to secure them further. Some tabs under the frame can help hold wires, but cable management may be less organized than desired.
The warranty on this desk is relatively short compared to others in its category, covering only five years for its frame and surface. This seems artificially short when comparable Chinese desks from Fully and iMovR offer seven-year guarantees while American Herman Miller desks and iMovR offer ten-year warranties.
Fezibo Adjustable Standing Desk
The Fezibo standing desk is an excellent way for anyone just entering the standing desk world to begin without spending a small fortune. Top-quality electric desks typically cost over $1000; finding something similar for less than half that price is truly remarkable.
This model is well-built, and testers found that its height adjustment mechanisms reacted smoothly. Furthermore, its compact dimensions make it suitable for home office or even laptop/monitor setups – just keep in mind that its desktop surface may feel slightly unsteady when standing up!
Fezibo stands out as an outstanding solution, featuring many handy functions that simplify using it, such as its sedentary reminder and free app, which track performance and allow users to customize the desk to meet their needs.
Fezibo stands out among our tests in that it comes with an extended warranty compared to most desks we’ve tested, giving you peace of mind that you’re making a wise investment for yourself and your health. While not as long-lasting as its Steelcase Ology counterpart, its guarantee still provides peace of mind that you are making an excellent decision for yourself and your future health.
Fezibo standing desks are ideal for professionals and students working from home offices. It allows users to stay healthy and productive without compromising comfort in the comfort of their environment. Business owners who wish to introduce standing desks for employees will find it hard to beat Fezibo with its economical price point and comprehensive set of features like customizable desktop size and height of frame – plus adding a side table or hammock for even greater customization – unlike any other standing desk on the market today!

It features a quiet motor that can lift 355 pounds, making it perfect for tall users or those with multiple accessories on their workstations. Its accompanying app allows users to customize presets, set activity goals, and monitor motor status.
This desk’s only potential drawback is its exposed motor and transmission bar–which moves one leg up or down–which could become vulnerable to debris accumulation over time. However, overall construction quality should remain high enough that this shouldn’t become an issue for most users.
While the EZ Desk Air has flaws, it remains an excellent and cost-effective motorized standing desk solution.
